The southwestern adobe's and adobe ruins are favorites in my paintings of the west. The architecture is very old indeed and still used in new construction out west. My home in Old Mesilla was made of adobe and built in the early 80's. There are many buildings and gates in my paintings that were included in my books about my art. Perhaps grab a print and a book!
