The members of the Plein Air Painters were in town the last weekend of February. We painted in spite of the cool temps and wind. These people are tough! We started Friday the 23rd at the Rio Grand Winery. Nice group on hand, right around 20 all together. We also had a couple prospective members and a new member join us. Saturday we painted in 2 locations. Morning was out on Box Canyon Rd. It runs along the east edge of the Las Cruces Airport. We broke for lunch and then went out to the La Cueva Pavilions in the Organ Mountain National Monument. Sunday we were back on our Pecan Farm in Mesilla. Everyone had a wonderful time. Plans are already being discussed for a repeat next year!
